The symbolic opening of the facility was performed by Hanna Zdanowska, Mayor of Łódź, Tomasz Lubowiecki, President of the Management Board of 7R, Bartłomiej Krawiecki, Member of the Management Board and Head of Development at 7R, and Hubert Hoffman, President of Commercecon, the general contractor in the project.

7R City Flex Łódź I is the company’s first project in this city. The facility is located in the eastern part of the agglomeration, at Rokicińska Street. This location ensures direct access to the A1 motorway, and convenient access to the city centre. An additional advantage of 7R City Flex Łódź is that it is accessible by public transport.
“The facility in Łódź is our first officially opened project in central Poland, and not the last one. The entire region has huge business potential, which is why we are already pursuing and planning subsequent projects there. We are particularly proud of the facility in Łódź due to its location and exposure: visitors entering the city are welcomed by our logo at the motorway junction,” said Tomasz Lubowiecki, President of the Board of 7R SA.
Popular with tenants
The building has an area of 8 300 sq. m and it has been popular with tenants since the very beginning. Even before it was opened, it was fully leased by Bel-Pol (1 300 sq. m), RTV Euro AGD (1 600 sq. m), Hydro Building Systems Poland (2 500 sq. m), and Zenner Poland (3 100 sq. m).
“So far, all the facilities we add to our network of the city warehouses get leased very quickly. This reassures us we have chosen the right path and encourages to continue developing. Tenants of the Łódź facility have particularly appreciated its excellent location, which ensures efficient last mile logistics, and our flexible approach, including openness to division of the offered space and attention to their needs,” argued Bartłomiej Krawiecki, Member of the Board and Head of Development at 7R SA.

Top class building
The facility was built in just over six months. LED lighting was installed in the warehouse, and daylight is provided in the near dock area. Fire resistance is at the highest level of over 4,000 MJ/sq. m. The project would not have been completed in such a short time without the commitment of Commercecon, the general contractor.
